The quick answer.
Smartwatchphone C91 4G GPS Kids Smartwatch (Black) is a kids smartwatch watch with case dimensions 40 × 48 mm body × 15 mm thick at €94.95. We recommend it for a family looking for calls, video communication, location features and parent-managed app access on a child’s wrist, with the time to configure a SIM and privacy settings.
Why it belongs on the shortlist.
The C91 goes well beyond a basic call button. Smartwatchphone lists voice and video calls, chat, SMS, GPS / Wi-Fi / LBS positioning, geofencing, route history and SOS. It also includes Wi-Fi, a Nano-SIM slot, camera, games and apps such as WhatsApp, with parental controls that can block applications and a class mode for limiting distractions. That flexibility makes it a strong option for families who want to tune the watch to their own rules rather than accept a fixed feature set.
The C91 is for families who want a broad feature set.
Calls, video calls, chat and SMS are combined with location and parent controls, giving the C91 several ways to support day-to-day contact. Smartwatchphone says unknown numbers can be blocked through the parent-managed contact list. For families who want the watch to do more than call one or two approved people, that breadth is the main reason to consider it.
The location tools are useful as check-ins, not guarantees.
Smartwatchphone lists GPS, Wi-Fi and LBS location, geofencing and a 30-day route history. Multiple positioning methods can be helpful as a child moves between home, school and other places, but the seller does not publish an accuracy guarantee. Treat the app as one communication aid, not a promise of exact tracking or a substitute for supervision.
Parents can shape app access and school-time behavior.
The C91 runs Android 8.1 and the listing names apps including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, plus 30 games. Smartwatchphone says parents can block applications and enable a class mode that limits watch use while leaving location active. We like having that choice, but it means the watch deserves an initial setup session and periodic review rather than being handed over with every feature enabled.
Talk through remote camera and listening features.
The product page lists remote listening and camera access. Those are sensitive features on a child’s personal device, so families should decide when they are appropriate, explain the rules and check what the companion app can access. The C91’s controls create options, but no watch feature by itself guarantees a child’s safety or privacy.
Plan for the SIM, battery and water limits.
A Nano-SIM and compatible mobile plan are needed for cellular calls and many connected functions; Wi-Fi can handle use at home. Smartwatchphone estimates one to three days from the 800 mAh battery, which will vary with calling and location use. The page lists IP65 and specifically excludes showering and swimming. Its 40 × 48 mm body, 15 mm thickness and 11–24 cm wrist range are worth checking against the child’s wrist.

Before you choose
Most connected features require a compatible Nano-SIM and a mobile plan. Smartwatchphone lists remote listening and camera access, so decide with the child what those features mean and review app permissions before use. GPS, Wi-Fi and LBS are positioning methods, not a guarantee of exact location or safety. The seller lists a one-to-three-day battery estimate, IP65 and a 40 × 48 × 15 mm body; it says the watch is for splashes, rain and hand washing, not showers or swimming.
Who it suits.
A family looking for calls, video communication, location features and parent-managed app access on a child’s wrist, with the time to configure a SIM and privacy settings.
When to choose something else.
Choose a simpler contact-only watch if you want fewer apps and remote features, a smaller device for a young child or a watch intended for swimming.
Warranty, returns and ownership.
Smartwatchphone lists a one-year warranty for manufacturing defects and a 14-day return period for complete items in perfect condition. Cellular functions need compatible mobile service; check the current regional warranty, return and SIM terms before ordering.
