The quick answer.
Angel Watch Series RS Kids GPS Smartwatch (Lunar Jet Black) is a kids smartwatch watch with case dimensions Angel Watch’s general size guide lists 40 × 50 × 15 mm; the Series RS page does not confirm these as model-specific dimensions. at $139.99. We recommend it for a family looking for approved-contact calling, messaging and location features on a child’s watch, without social media or web browsing.
Why it belongs on the shortlist.
The Series RS aims to give a child a direct way to reach family without opening up a general phone interface. Its parent-assigned contacts, cellular calls, video calling and messages make the communication brief easy to understand. Angel also includes location tools, an SOS button and class mode, so the product is shaped around family routines rather than a large app library.
A kids watch with a clear job.
Angel positions the Series RS around family communication: calls and video calls, parent-assigned contacts, messaging and location tools. The watch does not include social media, games or web browsing according to the manufacturer. We like that focused brief for families who want a child to carry a way to contact approved people without adding a full smartphone-style app environment.
The parent controls are the main reason to choose it.
The listed feature set includes geofencing, class mode, messaging and a dedicated SOS call path to up to three contacts. Angel also describes remote audio/video and location features in its app. Those functions can support family routines, but coverage, signal and device setup affect what arrives in practice; they are communication tools, not a guarantee of a child’s safety or a replacement for supervision.
Location and readings need sensible expectations.
Angel lists GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular positioning, plus remote vital-sign readings. The company says the watch is not a replacement for professional medical devices. We would treat the readings as non-medical information and the location functions as helpful check-ins, not precise tracking in every setting. Signal conditions and carrier coverage can change the result.
Plan the SIM and ongoing service before choosing a color.
Angel says a SIM is required for registration and most connected features, and cellular service may be billed separately by the network provider. The model page shows different SIM/network choices and regional paths, so check which one applies to the destination before ordering. Angel says its companion app has no subscription fee; that does not remove the mobile-network cost.
Check fit and water guidance with Angel’s current terms.
The Series RS page calls the display 1.44 inches and lists IP67, while also stating that water damage is not covered by the warranty. Angel does not give model-specific case measurements on the checked page. Confirm the fit and current water guidance for the selected version, especially if either is a deciding factor.
