The lines at a glance.
Eco-Drive is the technology.
Eco-Drive watches charge from any light, so you do not change a battery in the usual way. You will find it in dress watches, tool watches and chronographs.
Promaster: tool watches.
The Promaster family includes the Skyhawk A-T pilot watches with atomic timekeeping and alarms, and divers such as the Promaster Dive. Our pilot watch guide covers the Skyhawk in context.
Tsuyosa and Zenshin.
Tsuyosa is an automatic with an integrated bracelet and a 40 mm case. Zenshin is a titanium range; the Zenshin Chrono is a solar chronograph and the Zenshin NJ0180 an automatic.
Which should you choose?
Choose a Skyhawk for functions, a Tsuyosa or Zenshin automatic for design, a Zenshin Chrono for a light everyday chronograph and a Calendrier for a calendar complication. Our best Citizen Eco-Drive list ranks them.
