Who should buy which.

The SHY037 Titanium NH34 GMT Diver: A traveller or diver-style fan who wants a lightweight titanium GMT automatic at an accessible price. Choose a thinner, shorter watch if you want a low-profile fit, or a certified dive watch if certification is a purchase requirement.

The Admiral GMT Black: A traveler who wants a mechanical GMT, titanium bracelet and a high manufacturer-listed water rating in a single sporty watch. Choose a shorter case if the 49 mm span overhangs, or an ISO-certified dive watch if your purchase depends on a documented scuba standard.

Before you order.

At 40.5 mm wide, 48 mm lug-to-lug and 14 mm thick it is a substantial watch, and THORN does not publish a rated power reserve or an ISO dive certification. Check the span against your wrist.

A 49 mm lug-to-lug span and 13 mm thickness make the 40 mm case less compact than its diameter suggests. BODERRY lists 20 ATM / 200 m, but the page we checked does not identify an ISO 6425 certification. Treat the water figure as the manufacturer’s rating and choose a specifically certified dive watch if that is the requirement.
